Veilig minder antibiotica

Overconsumptie van antibiotica leidt tot resistentie, waardoor antibiotica niet meer zullen werken op het moment dat ze nodig zijn. In België zien we het aantal verpakkingen wel dalen, maar blijft het aantal Defined Daily Dose (DDD) stabiel. Wat het gebruik van chinolonen betreft is België met 0,8 DDD/1000 inwoners/dag zelfs bij de koplopers in Europa.

doelstelling

Doelstelling programma

Dit erkend, kwaliteitsbevorderend programma is bedoeld om enerzijds
patiënten beter te informeren én te sensibiliseren over het goed gebruik
van antibiotica en anderzijds om op een veilige manier minder, maar

beter antibiotica voor te schrijven. Daarnaast worden ook tools aangereikt
om beter samen te werken tussen arts en apotheker.

Beschikbare materialen

Modules & materialen

Vanuit het kwaliteit bevorderend programma bieden we verschillende modules en materialen aan, die u in staat moeten stellen om succesvol een MFO te organiseren. U kan met andere woorden zelf uw lokaal MFO-project samen stellen op basis van de beschikbare modules & materialen.

  2. Antibioticabeleid bij luchtweginfecties bij kinderen

  3. Antibioticabeleid bij urineweginfecties

Hiernaast zijn er ook verschillende materialen beschikbaar, waaronder presentaties, casussen, filmpjes, een e-learning, tips om beter te communiceren met de patiënt ... .

Opgelet; deze documenten werden goedgekeurd in 2019 en geüpdatet in januari 2020. Wij voorzien geregeld een update. Er kunnen echter steeds wijzigingen zijn tussen de meest recente versie en het moment dat u een MFO-project organiseert. Kwaliteitsindicatoren

Op het einde van het MFO kan je kiezen om concrete afspraken te maken en een 'kwaliteit bevorderend traject' opzetten, door één of meerdere 'indicatoren' te selecteren. Zo kan je na een bepaalde periode nagaan in welke mate het MFO zinvol was.
